What is Timelope?
Simply put, there are too many social networks, too many favorites sites, and too many online profiles. Timelope captures the base of your web existence, tracking and sorting as you surf. You can keep your account private or push it public. Either way, Timelope has a lot to offer.

What about the privacy risks?
If you're concerned, you should rethink privacy and probably cancel your ISP contract. Have you ever even read the privacy policy of Facebook? Timelope's founder isn't even on there because it's so terrible. It's all terrible, there is no privacy, just long winded legal documents that make you feel comfortable.

Who is behind this?
Timelope, conceived by Aviel Ginzburg, was created in early March of 2008 as part of Six Hour Startup, a Seattle, Washington based organization focused on the creation of a vibrant culture of entrepreneurship in the Puget Sound area. All code created during that event is licensed under BSD and available for download.

Attending the Timelope Six Hour Startup Event were:
Aviel Ginzburg, Anders Conbere, Daniel Worthington, Adam Hanig, Austin Appleby, Sean Ochoa, Leigh Hunt, Justin Martenstein, Theodore Nordsieck, Nelson Arzola, Robert Eickmann, John Sechrest, Bob Crimmins, Joey Shevelson, Steve Kubacki, Patrick Haller, Erik Chan, Jack Fecker
Following Six Hour Startup, Anders Conbere and Daniel Worthington joined the Timelope team. Currently, Anders and Aviel develop timelope, forming a badass duo of programming and design genius. Timelope is a project of love, and all three of us work on it in our spare-time. We're heavily feature driven, so we're sure that you'll find tons of bugs, a lack of documentation, and even some inline CSS. But hey, cranking out a complex database driven application with an API in 2 months is pretty tough if you work full time. If you have any ideas or constructive criticism, we would love to hear it.

Where is all the legal stuff?
Until we are out of alpha and actually form a company, Timelope is just a product 2 friends created and developed in their spare time. That is all. There are no guarantees, no legal privacy agreements, etc. If you are in the Seattle Tech community you know at least one of us, and know our reputation. We will do our best to keep your data safe and your information private (assuming you choose to keep your data private).
